If you are asked to provide us with a sample, please bring it to the surgery before 11.00 a.m.
After any test (including blood test, X-ray, other test) please check your result using the NHS App, or by accessing your notes online, or by calling reception (after 2pm). When the result comes to the practice, it will be interpreted and filed with a comment by the clinician. The requester can advise when the result is likely to be accessible. Please do not assume that if you have not been contacted that no action is required.
Please note: we cannot provide results of tests requested by the hospital or other non-practice staff. The result will go back to the requester who is best placed to interpret in the context of why the test was arranged.
